€1.8 million raised: the crowdfunding is successful! 🏁

It's over: with nearly 1,000 investors, €1.8 million has been raised. We actually still can't quite believe it.

When we launched the crowdfunding in March, that large sum with all those zeros still felt so far away. Now, here we stand with 954 people who say: we believe in this, and we want to be part of what you are building.

How it started

We hadn't actually planned to run a crowdfunding campaign right now. In November we discovered a manufacturing fault in our entire batch. We were well ahead of schedule, and then it all came crashing down for a moment. Tommi was born out of that crisis: a cute product, but also an expensive lesson.

So two months ago we sat down together: what now? Crowdfunding felt like the best option straight away. A way to build Ziemi together with the people who helped us through the Tommi situation.
